Thanks EC. Should have listened to your gut.
Think for yourselves, you idiots. You serfs.
The "rebels" are demanding the nanny state and absolute conformity.
Uh, getting de-platformed, getting called anti-vaxxers and conspiracy theorists.
If you do all that and have a medical degree you are treated like crap.
That's what I was thinking. Clapton has been through some very rough times.
Cracks me up to see people who obviously have no idea what Eric is speaking of claiming kinship.

Cracked me up - the opening sentence “Eric Clapton, an English rock and blues guitarist” - like - what??? Who on earth does not know who Eric Clapton is?
That’s like saying “Frank Sinatra - some Jersey guy who was a crooner” or “Elton John, some gay Brit who plays the piano well and used to wear crazy outfits”
I guess the writer is some young lass writing to her age group.
Cracks me up when the guy posting before me uses the same opening phrase as me... :)
LOL! Too true.
But no one cares what we say, only whether we agree with them.
“straight away had severe reactions which lasted ten days, I recovered eventually and was told it would be twelve weeks before the second one…”
“Straight away had severe reactions” is a strong indication of an allergic reaction.
From the UK dispensing sheet:
“Do not have the vaccine:
“If you have ever had a severe allergic reaction to any of the active substances or any of the other ingredients listed in section 6. Signs of an allergic reaction may include itchy skin rash, shortness of breath and swelling of the face or tongue. Contact your doctor or healthcare professional immediately or go to the nearest hospital emergency room right away if you have an allergic reaction. It can be life-threatening.
“If you have ever had a major blood clot occurring at the same time as having low levels of platelets after receiving any COVID-19 vaccine.
“If you had ever had a condition known as heparin-induced thrombocytopenia and thrombosis (HITT or HIT type 2).
If you are not sure, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse.
“Tell your doctor, pharmacist or nurse before vaccination:
“If you have ever had a severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) after any other vaccine injection;”
I believe that Eric should never have gotten a second shot and the medical people should have told him.
“4. Possible side effects
Like all medicines, this vaccine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. In clinical studies with the vaccine, most side effects were mild to moderate in nature and resolved within a few days with some still present a week after vaccination.
“If side effects such as pain and/or fever are troublesome, medicines containing paracetamol can be taken.
“Side effects that occurred during clinical trials with COVID 19 Vaccine AstraZeneca were as follows:
“Very Common (may affect more than 1 in 10 people)
tenderness, pain, warmth, itching or bruising where the injection is given
generally feeling unwell
feeling tired (fatigue)
chills or feeling feverish
headache
feeling sick (nausea)
joint pain or muscle ache
“Common (may affect up to 1 in 10 people)
swelling, redness or a lump at the injection site
fever
being sick (vomiting) or diarrhoea
flu-like symptoms, such as high temperature, sore throat, runny nose, cough and chills
“Uncommon (may affect up to 1 in 100 people)
feeling dizzy
decreased appetite
abdominal pain
enlarged lymph nodes
excessive sweating, itchy skin or rash
“Not known (cannot be estimated from the available data)
severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis)
In clinical trials there were very rare reports of events associated with inflammation of the nervous system, which may cause numbness, pins and needles, and/or loss of feeling. However, it is not confirmed whether these events were due to the vaccine.
“Following widespread use of the vaccine there have been extremely rare reports of blood clots occurring with low levels of platelets.
“Some people have reported a sudden feeling of cold with shivering/shaking accompanied by a rise in temperature, possibly with sweating, headache (including migraine-like headaches), nausea, muscle aches and feeling unwell, starting within a day of having the vaccine and usually lasting for a day or two.
“If your fever is high and lasts longer than two or three days, or you have other persistent symptoms, this might not be due to side effects of the vaccine and you should follow appropriate advice according to your symptoms.
“If you notice any side effects not mentioned in this leaflet, please inform your doctor, pharmacist or nurse.”
This is the UK dispensing sheet intended for medical people for the Pfizer vaccine:
“Undesirable effects” are listed at 4.8 of the sheet.
All the “rebels” are on the conservative side, Eric. The left is nothing but a monolithic, woke, angry, lock-step pity party.
I’d have to rank SRV right up there with him. Man was a SEVERELY underrated talent.
In India:
“The numbers suggest that more than half (52%) of the people infected in India so far were between the ages of 18 and 44 years, while a majority (55%) of those who died of the viral disease were 60 years and older. People in between the ages of 45 years and 60 constitute 33% of all fatalities, while about 10% of the deaths were among people between the ages of 26 and 44. Those between 18 and 25 years, and those below 17 years of age, account for only 1% of fatalities each.”
That article is from December of 2020.
The vaccine is like putting a condom on the C-virus. The Antibodies that the vaccine generates, renders it sterile. The vaccine is all about the condom. The human host benefits but is just the mechanism.
SRV. Yes.
I think there is little doubt that Clapton is a conservative. Not sure if he has ever declared himself as such but the evidence is there. He supported the Countryside Alliance against Blair’s hunting ban, and he even supported Enoch Powell in the 1970s.
Beware of becoming that which you hate!
I am shocked at what has happened to all my Civil libertarian friends. Where are are the good Hippies I grew up with?
My dad calls him Clampton.
I disagree with that.
