If mild or no symptoms then the vaccine did it’s job of getting your body to make antibodies to COVID-19. That is how vaccines work, they do not prevent the virus from entering your body (”getting COVID”).
A little reminder they WERE REPORTING the information that they now are going to no longer “track.” That’s right, the vaccine does not stop you from contracting the virus; it also doesn’t stop you from spreading the virus.
And based on the numbers the CDC did report until two weeks ago, it does not stop you from hospitalization. Eight percent of all breakthrough cases were hospitalized and 132 died.
What this change is clearly about is the CDC wants to “stop” the public from determining efficacy.
Remember those 33,000,000 covid positive cases that the CDC has been dutifully reporting for 15 months now were also mostly asymptomatic/mild.
It also helps the government ignore that the percentage of vaxxed infected matches the unvvaxxed percentage. JMO, but I’d make a bet.
