First, Occam’s Razor is a philosophical maxim, not a law of science...something you learn in engineering school. In fact, it is OFTEN the enemy of the scientific method. This is a topic that has been written about exhaustively particularly in the field of celestial mechanics. Flat-earthers would often resort to Occam’s Razor when dismissing the notion that the earth circled the sun. Physics frequently doesn’t lend itself to the simplest theory.
In any event, you assert that “I would like to believe’ something, but in actuality, I’m not partial to any explanation of these phenomena. However, I don’t dismiss them as man-made simply because I find the alternative objectionable. I don’t know what they are, but based on my understanding of radar and night vision technology (I have an under-grad degree in mechanical engineering and am graduate of the Naval War College), I know what they aren’t: They’re not electronic apparitions. Additionally, based on my understanding of the engineering of flight and our understood laws of physics, I realize these objects don’t represent a generational improvement in current aeronautics, but instead a MULTI-generational improvement in flying machines.
IOW, the technology delta between these craft and our most advanced aircraft is enormous, exponentially larger than any previous leap forward in aeronautics that has ever been made. It’s like the Wright Brothers flying at Kitty Hawk one day, then the next day launching a space shuttle. That’s the kind of improvement that has been captured in some of these videos and radar tracking data.
If these were advanced craft of unknown origin, there is no way the government would publicize them, or allow them to operate in MOAs. This is quite obviously a disinformation campaign by the U.S. Government.
