BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Authorities in Jefferson County, Alabama are charging a woman with murder after they say she ran over her longtime boyfriend with his own car several times.
The incident happened Saturday night in Birmingham, on Pawnee Village Road, and was captured on surveillance video, according to the Jefferson County, Alabama Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office says at about 10 p.m., 46-year-old Tomeka Sims was with the victim when they got into some type of disagreement.
Sims got into the victim's vehicle and drove away -- apparently dragging the unidentified victim, who WBRC reports was a man in his sixties.
The sheriff's office says the video shows Sims returning to the victim, slowly approaching him as he lied on the ground.
The video shows Sims drove over the victim "multiple times," according to the sheriff's office, and then drove away.
But she apparently wasn't done. The sheriff's office says Sims returned to the scene a second time, and tried to drive over the victim again. This time, she wasn't able to, because the victim had moved out of harm's way, under a nearby tractor trailer bed.
The victim later died. Authorities are now charging Sims with murder.

More Mennonite madness.
Law and Order episode from 20 years ago.
The boyfriend’s last words were, “does this mean you’re breaking up with me?”
Ran over him several times. Gotta love her dedication to the task at hand. She knows how to get the job done. Nothing half-assed for her.
Can you blame her? He was down on the ground and still couldn't tell the truth. Unless the failed writer and his failed editor meant "as he lay on the ground".
Good thing she did not use a gun.
“...slowly approaching him as he lied on the ground...”
Do they even have spell check?
Tomeka Sims
She was just a tad bit angry, huh? /s
“Wut hat happint wuz.....”
I wonder what the victim was lying about?
Not wishing to be insensitive to the victim, but still......what is news writing coming to? Come on, man! It's "LAY" on the ground!
Looks like Mrs. deBlasio.
<< Nothing half-assed for her. >>
Yeah, I’m sure Tomeka is quite full-assed.
Is this why when ever a Black guy can afford it, he’s with a White woman?
“...as he LIED on the ground.”
Fire the writer!!
Hell hath no fury . . .
Maybe he lied on the ground, and that’s why she runned him over. She ain’t like been lied to.
