A vaccine is not a wall around the body that prevents the virus from entering. As I understand it, vaccines enable the immune system to quickly get on the virus once it is in. If the whole country were being tested as aggressively as a major-league baseball team, this would probably be seen a lot (as would positive results with widespread testing for asymptomatic people for polio in the 1950s).
If a trained virologist or epidemiologist wants to correct my understanding, please do so. But until then people on FR may feel more comfortable staying in their standard freakout mode.
Nobody posing an obviously legitimate question to any government or health system official can seem to get a straight answer. Why is it that you appear so sanguine about this situation? Are you a troll?
The way I understand it is that this virus has an overall survival rate or 99.94 or so etching like that I think? The vaccines give folks who are In the .6% category, those who would not survive, a 90% or so chance of surviving if they do get the virus, supposedly.
So, if say 10,000 people out of a large group of vulnerable folks wou.d ordinarily die fro the virus, now ‘only 1000 will while 9000 will now survive.
Plus, I think the vaccines ‘are supposed to’ cut down on how many folks actually will get the virus and get sick. At least that is what is claimed, so the vulnerable group will be even more protected, I think the medical community are claiming that the vaccines will protect folks up to 90% or so from even getting the virus? So that remaining vulnerable group should see dramatically less deaths even beyond their 90% protection IF they do get the virus in the first place.
So if say 1000 put of 10000 would normally get the virus, a 90% reduction in Infecfion would mean now only 90 will get the virus SUPPOSEDLY (Need to stress supposedly)
On paper it sounds like this pandemic should be dead in the water, with very very few vulnerable elderly, sick etc succumbing to it from now on if they get vaccinated. Thr reality though is likely much different.
The medical professionals haven’t been straight with us through the whole thing. Their actions have lead to millions dying unnecessarily when they banned hcq and ivermectin. They are directly responsible for so much suffering and loss of life.
