I haven’t had a course in molecular genetics since 1978, so I’ll just ask a question: DNA can be synthesized using an RNA template (reverse transcription), so how can we say that foreign RNA can’t possibly alter our DNA?
We know a lot more than we did in 1978, but we don’t know everything.
