Bat lady?

Early on, in the midst of this CoVid hysteria, about a year ago, articles came out regarding this woman scientist at the Wuhan labs who specialized in Bat corona-virus research. Sometimes they referred to her as 'the bat lady'.

Shi Zhengli, known as the “Bat Lady” went on virus-hunting expeditions in bat caves over the past 16 years. She located the SARS coronavirus that had infected a bat and brought a sample of the virus to the Wuhan Institute of Virology for further study. It was the proof that bats could transmit the virus to humans. It was this strain of virus that was changed, using genome changing CRISPR-Cas9 technology, to create gain of function capabilities. It allowed genetic changes to the Spike Protein that made it more efficient at seating in the ACE-2 receptor of the epithelial cells. This increased its contagiousness.
