This boils down to a fundamental aspect of EVERYTHING associated with the reaction to this virus.

If the virus were as deadly to the population at large as they portray it, you wouldn’t have to browbeat people into quarantining, wearing masks, getting vaccinated, staying out of crowded environments, etc.

People would have done all these things of their own volition.

This stuff makes me grit my teeth, even when I see those useless, POS electronic message boards the government spent MY damn tax dollars on to tell me to buckle up, don’t text, wear a mask, and get vaccinated.

Exactly! In the 14th century, when one town unaffected by the Black Death had their first case, they literally boarded up the house of the victim along with the unaffected family members and just let them all die in there! That is taking a disease seriously.
