Is it possible that the test are the wrong thing to base policy on? Instead of counting positive test, that we instead only count cases that require hospitalization.
And in this I mean the raw number of individuals that have been admitted because of Covid not a percentage of available hospital beds (since this number can be manipulated).
We are being lied to on a massive scale and testing everyone is just a means to manipulate the public.
I suspect in a few years when the madness has faded and real research is done we will find that the total number of deaths (from all causes) in the US in 2020 was not much different then the total number of deaths in 2019. (Keep in mind this is just an opinion, I may be wrong).

This. Your logic and reason is excellent. Sadly, this topic has become a hopeless pretzel due to the misinformation and contradictions we have seen.
I have a friend in the ICU right now who is in his 40’s, a bit on the heavy side but generally in decent shape. He has 5 young kids. He may not make it and if our prayers are answered it is still probable he will have permanent damage. They induced a coma.
We have other friends who are in their 70’s that are sick but doing well enough and appear to be on the path to recovery in a week (hopefully). I have two other friends in their 40’s who had it (lost taste) in the last month with little symptoms.
This is a very weird virus.
