I can highly recommend Defenders #1.
My Variant Cover Doctor Strange is visited by The Masked Raider who is a really cool "hero" who goes around with a six-shooter in each hand. Time is in danger. So Doctor Strange flips a deck of cards with heroes... and randomly gets three more heroes for the Defenders team. One being Silver Surfer!
They space/time travel and suddenly GALACTUS is towering in front of them.
