I just remember that, even then, I was very suspicious of the timing of the Hinkley shooting. In retrospect, I am even more so.
Remember, Ronald Reagan was hated (by the left and the deep state) as much as Donald Trump, though at a less-rabid, less-demented level. George H.W. Bush — the former head of the CIA — was forced upon Ronald Reagan, again by the Deep State, and he was sent there to moderate and control Reagan as much as he could.
We now know that mentally-ill operatives can be manipulated into acts of violence, and what better ‘solution’ to the Reagan ‘problem’, if G.H.W. Bush was made president by succession?
These were all Deep State machinations, in my perception.
