People who take opioids may develop pinpoint pupils.
Prescription medications that contain opioids are oxycodone, morphine, hydrocodone, codeine and methadone.
Opioids are highly addictive. Overdose symptoms may include a pale or clammy face, blue or purple fingernails, shallow breathing or a slow heartbeat.
