SEATTLE - Nearly 10 months worth of Mayor Jenny Durkan's text messages went missing following an investigation triggered by a whistleblower into the mayor's office mishandling a series of public records requests.
The texts that were not acquired include messages from August 2019 to June 2020, during which demonstrations and the Capitol Hill Occupied Protest (CHOP) took place in Seattle and SPD officers had to vacate the East Precinct.
Dan Nolte, a spokesperson with City Attorney Pete Holmes confirmed with Q13 News Saturday the missing text messages and that the city spent, to date, "hundreds of thousands of dollars in attempting to locate and reconstruct the missing messages."

The level of gall Durkan and her cohorts use because her populace gives her a pass is increasing exponentially.
There are ways to recover those messages. It will likely take a Federal Court to order so as Washington state courts are likewise corrupted.
Funny how Antifa and BLM can turn on their host.
The texts deleted would have shown mayor dorkon coordinating with antifablm.

Fundamental tenets of operating a corrupt organization: say nothing incriminating on the phone, and never, ever put anything in writing. Unbelievable incompetence.
Those message are forever. Subpoena their cellular providers.
If true, who is the person that deleted the all the texts from the system, and why has that person not been fired.
