I doubt any ransom paid. After the release of the info that the CIA/NSA/FBI can leave a false trail for internet intrusions, I am doubtful that it was a foreign ransomware attack at all. The entire administration is a RICO operation and I put nothing past their evil intentions.
Maybe they’re going to say, “The same thing happened with the voting machines.” It wasn’t us, it was those darned Rooskies!
