I’m just curious how much you’re being paid to make pro-pharma posts like this? Because anyone so lacking in common sense & willing to deny objective reality that Big Pharma has made us repeat customers is definitely suspect in my mind

Guess what - zero!
Yes, big pharma likes repeated customers - they like to sell you antidepressants (biggest moneymakers), cholesterol meds, insulin, etc.

Not that much antibiotics - they are not repeated too often.

And, the least, the vaccines. Most vaccines are made by nobodies, you likely never heard off. The profit margin is minuscule and repeatability minimal.
It was President Trump, who twisted arms of Pfizer and Astra-Zeneca and Johnson & Johnson to force them to make the vaccines. Otherwise, we would be stuck with Moderna and maybe something from China. It would take them 10 years to do that!
Big Pharma likes the treatments, especially the new ones like Remdesivir. We would be stuck with those for a decade.
But, instead of thanking Pres. Trump, I see here all kind of the Big pharma nonsense here.

If you don’t think vaccines are money makers, you clearly aren’t paying attention. The vaccine industry alone is worth over $60 billion dollars. If they aren’t so profitable why do you think they’re pushed so hard (hint: the motives are not altruistic)

You really need to read more

You better read more. In 2013 global vaccine sales were just $25 billion
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7151793/

While in 2011, global spending on prescription drugs topped $954 billion.
See Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pharmaceutical_industry

So vaccines are only 2.5% of the prescription drug market.
Just a pittance, big pharma does not want to go there and leaves this to several small players.
Moreover the profit margins were lot worse in vaccines then prescription drugs.
It changed little with President Trump push for Covid vaccine. He was willing to pay the premium, so we (the USA) are having them and the rest of the world does not.

But still, all those vaccines are creation of Moderna type small companies and research organizations, the big guys were taken in, so they could provide manufacturing and distribution expertise. Kind of forced in by Trump.

I am not saying that there are no money in vaccines. Obviously making vaccines provides for some people well being.
And it is not really wrong for the Big Pharma to make some money either!
What I am saying is that vaccines are kind of ugly duckling of the health care industry. Field relegated to few minor players happy with low profit margins.
Lumping them with “Big Pharma” is totally wrong!
Moderna is a shining example. They had method, but could not make any medicine, so they reluctantly decided to go into vaccines.
Covid happened and they made it. Otherwise, they were basically broke before Covid.
Even now, they are minor player in the whole scheme of things.
