I'm also looking into Chaga Mushroom which seems to be the base chemicals are from Tryptophan (Vit B3 Niacin) and Tryptophol (Chaga Mushroom.) Yeast attacks the natural amino acids essentially by splitting off carbon dioxide and replacing the amino group with hydroxyl. By this reaction, tryptophan gives rise to tryptophol.
In other words Chaga Mushrooms seems to be a natural form of Niacin.
