So is the blind worship. Tebow was never an NFL caliber quarterback. He had three chances to show it and he failed each one. Now the idea that at 33 he will beat out other players ten years younger than he is and who have played tight end for their entire football career is ridiculous. I do not see him as being on the roster come opening day.
In do see a significant chance that he will side-step into an Assistant Coaching position with Urban.
Yet he was an NFL quarterback. A starting NFL quarterback.
And as an NFL starter he had a winning record. An above average winning record in the NFL.
