Criminal law enforcement certainly is not up to the task. And it seems the most common advise we can give folks in this forum is “move out of the blue areas”. We are told by our peers that any attempt to defend ones self will land you in jail if attacked by the enemy. And very little instruction is given on how one should respond with confronting such threats, if any at all.
Reality Check: Most people can’t just get up and move to a more desired location at the drop of a hat - especially with inflation these days.
What we think *should* happen or what we would do changes once a person is confronted in this situation.
A primary concern will be when the person behind the wheel is not the only passenger. Spouses and even children may be in jeopardy during these events. Also, it has become clear that the enemy has been embolden; increasingly aggressive, and has displayed and carried out the ability to use force at their own discretion. The fatal flaw from our view is the expectation of law and order to protect the innocent.
It is expected that in that given moment, the first emotion is shock, followed by fear. Few of us are trained and/or have instinct to rush toward the danger, or fight through the ambush. Unfortunately, such counteractions must now be considered, and pondered upon during our travels. And for the sake of others that will follow, if/when countermeasures are taken, we cannot concern ourselves with what follows. To put it bluntly: “I felt my life was in danger, and took immediate action for the sake of my own survival” has to be the order of the day.
We may not achieve our desired outcome upon adjudication, but such actions may serve as a deterrent against the next would-be assailants. After all, what choice do we have?
Mark my word: this flash point will happen someday, at which point the powers-that-be, having their bloody shirt(s) to wave around as propaganda, will justify themselves with a moral imperative to pre-emptively unless their force upon us; if they haven’t already.
And for those reading this, please do not think that the CWII begins at that point. In fact, the first step in turning the tables against this enemy is to fully understand and accept that when it comes to that Second Civil War...
