I could not afford it because the family law system is worse than the health care system. I would have loved to go have fun. I chose not to because I couldn’t afford the risk of even moderately risky behavior. I decided to be a grown up and went without. If I had 10k to spend on kite boards, I would have paid for insurance. So I dont need to hear your woe is me. I have been there.
