I guess you just don’t get it. He is deciding to use a service that is expensive. The system is the system.
...
Sorry. We all have to deal with the system. I am not a fan.

You're unwillingness to go against a system you admit you don't like is your own problem though, not the OP's.

But of course if this idiot showed up and didn’t want to pay I should be able to refuse service to him. But I can’t. If you would be willing to state no one physician or provider should be forced to take care of someone who cannot pay then I am fine as it is an equal playing field for people who don’t want to make sure they can cover their individual health care costs.

Well of course no physician should be forced to work for free if he doesn't want to. That's the very definition of slavery. But your patients are not putting you in that situation. The government is. Can you not see that what you are doing is making patients pay for services they did not receive - i.e. services provided to other non-paying patients? That is also slavery and you don't get claim the right to do it to someone else just because the government did it to you.

Well. By law I am FORCED to take care of patients. Exactly because of jackasses like the OP who demands treatment. Will not insure himself. Then bitches about paying costs that he could have reasonably mitigated. Sorry. It is ENTIRELY his fault
