Well, 95% of what people talk about is nonsense, so as far as that goes you have an advantage. ;-)
I think many youtube videos have closed caption (though perhaps not this video). Isn’t there a browser or computer app you can install that adds captions? I am sure it’s not perfect, sometimes I actually do turn on the CC on TV or video and it’s not perfect but pretty good.
YouTube itself adds captions, but only IF the video author engages that capability. The end-user cannot.

Oh, I "so" wish. But have never found such. I am not totally deaf (hearing aids with all the bells and whistles), and do OK "face-to-face", but the aids alone just are not enough when trying to reproduce an electronically-produced sound from a speaker. Aids plus captions is what it takes.
