But it is contagious. I was referring to contagious diseases. Only contagious diseases require vaccinations.

And if they ever come up with a safe vaccine for colds, I would take it and never, ever wonder if anyone else had been vaccinated for it.

Now since you are so dense, I would be concerned about family members. I am only referring to people we all meet going about our daily lives and have no control over.

I got the pneumonia vaccine some years ago. It has never entered my mind to worry whether or not anyone I meet has had it. Never.

Pneumonia is a completely different story in terms of whether you worry about other people having had or not having had the same vaccine you did.

The pneumonia vaccine is mostly given to old people in nursing homes and hospitals so it doesn't spread around the close quarters of one of those places. It is not given to stop a pandemic, or any other kind of general contagion. The thread was about the vaccine pass.
