None of the "facts" can be considered as reliable information.
The Chinese will lie to reduce their reported infection and death rates. They have every incentive to do that.
The US agencies will lie to increase their reported infection and death rates. They have many incentives to do that. (e.g. "Never let a crisis go to waste")
We are flying blind here.
Driving with your eyes closed.
Driving with your eyes closed.
Your're gonna hit something.
But that's the way it goes..."
(Don Henley, from "Building the Perfect Beast", 1984)
When “cases” are determined by a PCR test which can be adjusted to pick up the tiniest amount of something remotely related to coronavirus than you were going to get a whole lot more “cases“ than if the test, which was never intended as a diagnostic test, uses fewer amplifications.
Not informing each person who had a PCR test how many amplifications were used to determine their positive test as well as keeping and publishing statistics on these amplifications numbers is an indication to me that our government wants to be able to lie about Covid-19.
