Now the downside.....as we were taking a bus tour, the narrator talked about the way newly married couples are able to get an apartment. They sign up for one on a Government list and when one comes available, the next couple on the list is awarded the apartment. Oh, and there aren’t any old cars there. You also get on a list to buy a new car. Cars are very expensive there, but your car cannot be too old, like about ten years. The cars are then taken and sold in other countries (read Malaysia).

Yes. And then the car will be more expensive than in other countries. And we really only saw Mercedes, BMWs, etc. on the streets. Beautiful country completely controlled by their Government.

But no litter at all on the streets. Give up freedom for a pretty and expensive place to live? No thanks.
