California was run well when it had a part-time legislature. That way the politicians had to live with the laws that they passed.

In the 1960s that was changed to a full time legislature and the crooks took over. Add in the radical change in California demographics that came courtesy of the 1965 immigration act and you get the California that we have today. 25% of those who live here were born in another country. American culture is a weak influence in California.

I was born and raised in this state.

I’ll stay and fight for it.

I was born and raised in a small farming community, adjacent to half a dozen other small farming communities in the county.

The county seat had 29,000 people when I was 5.

Yosemite, 90 miles. SF bay 90 miles. The Lost Coast 150 miles. Tahoe 100 miles. A 9,400ft mountain pass 70 miles.

Now the county has 600,000 people and I don’t like most of them.

But they are not going to run me out.
