The article at the other link, at organicfacts.net, mentions that there are many species of pine, and that the needles from only certain ones should be used for making tea.

It goes on to specify some that are toxic and to be avoided, as well as some that aren’t really pine at all, and are also toxic. But as far as I could tell, it didn’t say which species were the preferred ones. Odd.

Do your homework before trying.

Ponderosa pine and cypress are no-nos. I would avoid cedar as well.
