OMG horrible, childhood memory.. hahahahhahaah.. my mom used to use a cowbell to call us kids home for dinner hahahahhaa.

Interesting. My mother banged a cowbell too when we were small, had large rural acreage so the sound needed to carry. It was a real cow bell though, not an instrument.
