DISGUSTING! Where are the other Christians? Why aren’t the church members following them to protect them? Is there not ONE Christian amongst the police officers? Or whoever they are. Spit, they make me sick.

You know... I know people have other belief systems and that’s fine, but honestly, read the Left Behind series. This is the Left Behind series in real life.

Indeed. When I saw that, I thanked God again that I live in the free state of Florida, and also for something that I’d pretty much taken for granted. Our church has a uniformed and armed police officer guarding the premises on Sunday mornings.

We aren’t in a particularly bad area, but due to our location, if someone were to gain access to do any mischief, they could easily escape in a flash and be on the interstate and far away in no time. Also, our congregation is largely an older demographic. I’m sure that just having a cop car sitting on the corner gives pause to anyone with ill intent. The officers are by and large competent and friendly people. It certainly gives us some sense of security in these weird times!
