Since you are in TX let us know if you find out anything. I just couldn't believe it when I saw a mention up the thread, and could only find limited articles. Without something more direct, it's still unknown. The article further says that he is supposedly stalling on a legislative vote on preventing businesses from being allowed to prevent non-vaxed people from being hired or using business or something like that. Also weird.

Someone should ask the Gov.

I can say with 99% certainty that if Abbot is blocking any seemingly benign legislation it is because they have hidden some liberal rider within it.

Furthermore, if Abbott is blocking legislation about business denying employment to non vax, then it would probably be because it is redundant...there are already hippa laws and non discrimination laws. Any legislation put forth about such a matter is simply written to be divisive.

This “from... using business” part I’m interested in, because it affects everyone, whether working age or retired:

“preventing businesses from being allowed to prevent non-vaxed people from (being hired or) using business”

Everyone buys stuff: food, home improvement, etc.
