I haven't heard about this here in West Texas - what is the source?
I have heard that constitutional carry just got through our Senate and that Abbot is behind it and ready to sign if it reaches his desk.
I did some searching and this is all I could find. Not clear...

I’m guessing Abbott doesn’t want to face the firestorm from the degenerates if he has to sign that bill. Would like to finesse it so he doesn’t have to take that public stand. I liked him when he was Texas AG. But really, no worse than slick Rick. Could be a lot worse.
Constitutional carry needs to be hashed out between House & Senate, due to some amendments being added when in the Senate.
Once the amendments are sorted out & the bill ok’d, then it goes to the gov.
