I think that was once the role of parents. That was back before the "it takes a village" nonsense.
My kid brother got a tattoo when he was in the Navy. I imagine the peer pressure was pretty heavy and the liquor was cheap. I was pretty lucky to be born without a peer pressure gene.
Unfortunately parenting has become a lost art. Besides the youngsters usually get them when they are in their late teens and early twenties. At least they they have an excuse. They’re young and foolish. The oldsters who get a tattoo in their forties and after have no excuse.
