You would have to show you mapped your own genome in order to use the identical process to attack it. Not many companies have the money to do that. You license their information in order to develop your own therapy.

a) the source releasing it to the WHO was honest.
b) the WHO was honest in what it passed on.
c) natural variations in the virus (*cough* mutations *cough* genetic drift *cough* further gain-of-function *cough) didn’t render it obsolete.
d) it was a smart idea to base the treatments on mRNA instead of a true vaccine
e) it was a smart idea to have the mRNA code for the spike protein, which is known to cause abnormal clotting, to promote cell death by causing some vulnerable cells to merge their cell walls, and to pass the blood-brain barrier
f) there are no lurking patents around preventing meaningful research except for Big Pharma trying to get rich
g) there isn’t something more nasty up China’s sleeve which depends on significant numbers of US citizens getting full of mRNA shots for spike protein
