Even if there happens to be a patent with a patent number, it still would have to be demonstrated that the CDC is enforcing its patent rights in such a way that it impedes others from working with the virus.
Sure, but we both know there’s no patent, right? The number is not coming. There will be some excuse for why not, but it won’t come. Or what comes will be for something totally unrelated and not even owned by CDC, but there will be excuses for that as well.
