I agree with everybody that the saying is harmless, but being in the military for awhile I learned that adding to or subtracting from the uniform of the day is forbidden. If the saying is not part of the accepted uniform, then he shouldn't wear it.

I can remember when a home schooled soldier refused to wear a blue UN beret. He ended up leaving the military for refusing to wear it.

The biggest problem I have with the story was it was about a KEY CHAIN! Was it his personal key chain or the PD issued Key chain? Someone needs to look up the Chief's arse hole to get the stick out of there. If the saying was on a patch on his uniform or some sort of badge, they would have a point. I don't think a key chain is a uniform.

What SHOULD have happened was the court martial of whatever idiot first ordered American servicemen to wear a UN uniform item.
