While the findings themselves aren’t entirely a surprise, the paper provides clear confirmation and a detailed explanation of the mechanism through which the protein damages vascular cells for the first time. There’s been a growing consensus that SARS-CoV-2 affects the vascular system, but exactly how it did so was not understood. Similarly, scientists studying other coronaviruses have long suspected that the spike protein contributed to damaging vascular endothelial cells, but this is the first time the process has been documented.
In the new study, the researchers created a “pseudovirus” that was surrounded by SARS-CoV-2 classic crown of spike proteins, but did not contain any actual virus. Exposure to this pseudovirus resulted in damage to the lungs and arteries of an animal model—proving that the spike protein alone was enough to cause disease. Tissue samples showed inflammation in endothelial cells lining the pulmonary artery walls.
The team then replicated this process in the lab, exposing healthy endothelial cells (which line arteries) to the spike protein. They showed that the spike protein damaged the cells by binding ACE2. This binding disrupted ACE2’s molecular signaling to mitochondria (organelles that generate energy for cells), causing the mitochondria to become damaged and fragmented.”

These proteins were substantially resistant to trypsinization, in the presence of spike protein S1. Here we suggest that, in part, the presence of spike protein in circulation may contribute to the hypercoagulation in COVID-19 positive patients and may cause substantial impairment of fibrinolysis. Such lytic impairment may result in the persistent large microclots we have noted here and previously in plasma samples of COVID-19 patients. This observation may have important clinical relevance in the treatment of hypercoagulability in COVID-19 patients.“

I’ve been saying this since last Summer. Because it’s a virus, that mutates like the flu, this “vaccine” will be useless after a year. It will end up being a seasonal shot, either combined with the flu shot or you get one in each arm at the same time. People blew me off as a nutjob. Yet here it is.

Generally speaking, I would assume the Sauk Institute is reputable. Does it matter that the S-protein can be toxic? Good lord, I would imagine it takes a certain level, or individual sensitivity in order to have an issue.
But thanks for the inadequate response. Understand your type is part of the difficulty in quantifying the extent of the problem.

Flu. We don’t even know if we’ll need boosters though and it may not even be accurate to call it a booster just like it really isn’t accurate to call the Flu vaccine a booster. The problem with RNA viruses is how fast they mutate. It’s not a booster so much as it is a new vaccine. We don’t have any answers yet. I just read that they’re getting ready to publish the data that determines how long antibodies remain but the virus will mutate anyways so even if you have high levels of antibodies, they might not fully recognize the virus anymore and as we see with Dengue fever virus infections, when antibody levels fall and you come into contact with a different phenotype of the same virus, ADE can happen. This happens naturally with Dengue incidentally and it could as easily happen with naturally acquired covid immunity as it does with vaccine acquired immunity. While we’re all waiting around for Covid to become a less deadly endemic version of itself, it could become much more deadly first and it probably will IMHO.
