Definitely COVID. He likely caught it from a family he’s friends with and who have also had COVID. No idea what treatment he’s getting (if any). His wife is a nurse, so maybe that will be of some help in getting decent treatment. I’d be pushing for Regeneron or similar if it were me, but I don’t know if he qualifies for that or if it’s available at the hospital he is at. Ex-colleague of my wife. She’s who told me about him being hospitalized.
