The thing I found interesting about this story was their ownership of large numbers of “Canadian National” shares.
I wonder what came with that. Canadian National is a short name for Canadian National Railways, a company which was one of two large monopolistic Canadian railroad companies, but nowadays probably makes a lot of its money from the trans-shipment of containers from ports to the interior, not just in Canada but across parts of the northern U.S.
Two partners in that of course, Canadian government and Chinese government.
Just sayin ... this might be the only actual “news” buried in this otherwise uninteresting story. Although I didn’t look very carefully at the other holdings which might have their own stories to tell.
