I am one of those who didn't know the difference between the CDC,
and then it being differentiated from the CDC Foundation .
An interesting and cosey co-relationship, nonetheless !

The CDC website says that such partnerships are help the CDC ‘diffuse threats”, change the way CDC conceptualizes and solves problems etc. It’s fully functioning funding of the CDC. It’s just the foundation handles the money for the CDC. Thoroughly inappropriate and obviously unethical, in my opinion.
