Story doesn’t pass logic test as written.

Infant “ejected”? Looking at the pictures perhaps it fell or was accidentally dropped from someone’s grasp as they Ttempted to exit.

No car seat mentioned.

If it was an ejection, then the child flew out during the event. Someone managed to see that, get stopped, jump into still cold waters of the bay, locate and save the child,, swim(?) and await the arrival of first responders (15 min maybe).

With the ‘facts’ presented, I am not going with the story as written.

PS, looking at the vehicle pics in the story, I don’t really see enough missing glass to allow an ejection.

Two vehicle accident.
7 people injured.
No indication how many in each vehicle or if there were other passengers that weren’t injured.

I agree don’t see how the kid was “ejected”.
