Third, around a third of survivors have long term disabilities that may be permanent. They suffer heart damage, lung scarring, and neurological impairments, to name three of the common post-Covid-19 disabilities.
Fourth, influenza is not a mild disease. Tens of thousands in the US die of it every year. It killed 49,783 in 2019 alone. Some influenzas kill 60% of those who catch them.
Fifth, have you ever thought about who benefits when people believe misinformation like that in the article you posted? You know, the Biden campaign took full advantage of that misinformation to portray Trump as incompetent and conservatives as stupid, and look where we are now.
