The Never-ending Hunt for a Trump Crime
American Thinker ^ | 2 May, 2021 | Clarice Feldman

If you are not yet concerned about the FBI’s counterintelligence operations, incompetency and KGB-type operations, you just aren’t paying attention.

The news that federal investigators searched and seized electronic devices from the apartment and office of Rudy Giuliani, a Trump lawyer, raises so many questions and involves so much missing information that even someone as skilled a mystery writer as Patricia Cornwell might have difficulty unraveling the story. I’m not that person, unfortunately, but let me try to make some sense out of this crime story.

Background

President Biden’s son, Hunter, had a lucrative position with a Ukrainian energy company, Burisma, and it raised suspicions that this created a conflict of interest respecting U.S. policy toward Ukraine. Suspicions about improper influence upon the Bidens by certain Ukrainian officials were heightened when Joe Biden publicly bragged that he was effective when he threatened to cut off aid to Ukraine unless the prosecutor investigating Burisma was fired. Although the FBI received Hunter’s laptop with relevant evidence, to my knowledge the FBI declined to examine it. In the course of his representation of Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani traveled to Ukraine in December 2019, accompanied by a team from One America News. OAN produced a documentary of the trip in which it publicized the relationship between Hunter and Burisma and Joe Biden’s publicly admitted action to cover this up by getting the prosecutor fired.

Anonymous Sources Reveal Baseless Warnings to Giuliani and Senator Ron Johnson

The first account I read was in the Washington Post, where Ellen Nakashima, Shane Harris, and Tom Hamburger clearly megaphoned the FBI story in an account which suggests we are seeing the phony baloney Russian Collusion tale being repeated with the same sort of willing collusion by the press, a role long played by Nakashima.

I remember hearing how straight and narrow the folks at the FBI are and how many would quit rather than be a part of Obama’s corruption of the agency.
Well the Clinton crime syndicate along with the Biden crime family were allowed to do so many illegal things and yet the FBI looks the other way,The FBI is crappola and agenda driven and not worth a thimble of spit any more.

Perhaps the progressive goal with Trump is not to put him in jail but to keep him legally tainted so as to use him and TDS to forment a civil war within the Republican party.

"It is like the FIB knows that everyone considers them totally corrupt and they don't care."

Did the Stasi or the SS care? The FBI is the regime domestic security service and, they not only don't care, they will be happy to really bad things to those who do care about America.

More on this story:

Four Connected Stories Last Week Indicate Rudy Giuliani Was Likely One of The 2019 Victims of FBI FISA Abuse, and Mary McCord is Needed as Insurance

And a comment, highlighting the retractions in WaPo, NYT and CBN:

"Big retraction from WaPo: “This version has been corrected to remove assertions that OAN and Giuliani received the warnings...” https://washingtonpost.com/national-secur..."

However, note what Clarice writes. Sen Johnson apparently received some kind of briefing.

PS: Clarice has just updated her story with the retractions.

Despite his desire to walk around in high heels and a dress Hoover had this thing figured out decades ago. He saw his “bureau” as something to be kept apart from politics and its reputation to be something that was protected and nurtured. Although he was far from perfect in this he was right on the money. It’s as though he saw a, situation like this playingbout and wanted no part of it.

The reason they have not found a Trump crime is because we are still operating under the vestiges of a constitutional republic.

Once we go full blown communist, rest assured, they will find the crime.

The ‘republicans’ who swallowed that drivel have already exposed themselves!

REAL Conservatives will carry the ball from here. Why even THINK about the self-identified traitors?

It is part of the essence of totalitarian corruption to distort the law and the power of the state to turn political opponents into criminals. Next stop: Gulags.

She is a nice person, a brilliant lawyer, and is reporting this very clearly.

However, it’s much later than she thinks. She writes as if there is someway FISA could be dumped or moderated. She appears to believe that we can still vote our way out of this.

I agree that Clarice appears to have a more positive (or less realistic) view of things than for instance Sundance at the Conservative Treehouse. I follow Sundance's posts on the goings on in DC, and there seems no way round it, but to admit that the US is no longer run by the Rule of Law, but the Rule of men (lower-case "m" intentional).

However, if the election cheating can be overcome in 2024 (a very big "if"), then I still think there is a chance. Most of the leftwing bureaucrats in the DOJ and IC are followers not leaders. Thus, if a conservative administration can fill the top-echelons (DOJ, FBI, IC) with their people, and if the adminstration is helped by Miller's anti-lawfare group, there is a possibility to rectify a lot of things.

Note that Trump was able to fill the trade- and economic offices with his people (not that many, but many enough so they could run things (excellently!)). However, Trump obviously had no team of friends to fill the DOJ, and that's where he unfortunately was much weaker than Reagan. But that is the problem with someone who is a total political outsider*.

Much will depend on who controls the Senate. If the GOP can recover the majority in 2024 (or hopefully keep the majority they will win in 2022), then it is absolutely imperative that the majority leader is forced (blackmail, physical threats, whatever....) to allow immediate recess appointments. No more Mitch McConnell treason!!

*Although Reagan was also an outsider, he had his administration from his two terms as Governor of California.)
