For those who have asked, yes this man appeared to be armed, as were a few protesters. It was a tense few minutes.
(Excerpt) Read more at twitter.com ...
And the protest was about what?
Can you post more here? Trying to boycott Twitter.
Some of the local BLM protesters tried to stir up some chit in Louisville on Derby day. A group of friends were eating and were accosted by the blm knuckle dragers. Some of the protesters were carrying AR’s, pistols and wearing body armor. One of the diners, dude looked to be late 60’s, felt threatened and pulled out a snub nosed revolver. Backed off the pack of idiots. He never blinked. Looked like he had ice in his veins.
Don’t blame you for boycotting twitter. I go there just to rile the libs.
Supposedly, Kentucky is a part of the South but, it’s too damned far north to be the South as far as I’m concerned. And, the sheer quantity of Far Left Lunatics that apparently live there seems to back my contention that Kentucky is NOT a Southern State. You don’t see this crap taking place so often in the Real South. It seems to be all too common in Kentucky.
Thanks!
What kind of “protesters” carry ARs, pistols and wear body armor?
It's only a matter of time because we are basically seeing police backing off so this kind of stuff is going to be more common.
Come Monday the gun holding gentleman will be charged with some made up BS violation.
Kentucky, some Mountain Williams relations explained to me when I was but a callow youth, is a “border state”. I’m unclear if there are others.
What they meant was, there are counties full of decent folks, but there are other counties that might as well be full of Yankees, bless their black hearts. And in the case of my own family, there were (now distant) cousins who fought and died in defense of their homes and families, and others who fought for the Northern aggressors
I think the descendants of the latter all moved to Louisville. The country is still fine.
They should be charged for trespassing but we all know this won’t happen. But at some point, somebody is going to get pissed off and there will be blood.
And that is exactly what they want.
Kentucky was extraordinary during the civil war. Geography as a border state with Ohio and Mississippi River access made it critically important for logistical reasons. It was home to both Presidents, North and South. It had the highest per capita ownership of slaves but the lowest average number of slaves per owner. Ky declared neutrality but was invaded by both sides. The North gained dominance by 1862 with the rest of the war marked by a nasty guerrilla conflict. The first Capitol of the Confederacy was in Bowling Green. There were Kentucky military units in both the union and the confederacy.
Today with Louisville being the exception Kentucky is one of the reddest states in the country. The governor is the only democrat to win a state wide election in 10 years. The legislature has had a republican veto proof majority for several years. If we could just elect more conservative judges.
They will nail him for brandishing. No doubt about it.
It’s a “neutral zone”.
Have you been banned yet? That seems to happen pretty quickly to those who do that?
I glance at a few things there from time to time, don’t have an account.
>we are basically seeing police backing off
There was a recent article here stating that Louisville Metro Police Department is down well over 200 officers. This largely over the Breonna Taylor #BLM riots and protests. I expect there’s a lot of FIDO policing going on in LMPD among those who haven’t up and left/retired.
