Yup no prob.
Years ago my Pappy ustah put a small amount of diesel in the wash bucket when doing the old pick’em-up.
Said it coated the inside of the body work and helped prevent rust.
Never heard of that one and I grew up in the country. We
used to depend upon the rain to give it a wash.
Liquid silicone likely work too
We spray it on tires
That is what called tire shine
Maybe with some darkening argent tossed in
