Actually, that’s correct, that’s the way it works. Once in a century is the probability, but it happen twice in a row.
We had a once in a century river runoff in the Colorado River near my house one year. The next year we had a once in 500 years runoff.

That should read: “Once in a century is the probability, but it can happen twice in a row.”
It could happen 5 times in 5 years, but the probability is extremely low.
