RE: My doctor prescribed that for my family

For CoVid-19? If so, for prophylaxis or treatment after infection? What was the result?

Hi SeekAndFind! A roughly 20Y lurker here, but had to go official to share this information.

Since early 2020 I have prepared for covid by having on hand several things: Vitamin D, vitamin C, Zinc, Quercetin, etc. I also, based on the very early evidence, procured an Ivermectin product intended for “off label” use in a break glass situation. Well, that situation arrived on Tuesday 4/27.

Background: My father-in-law was hospitalized for roughly a month for non-covid issues. During that time my wife was visiting the hospital daily. During her visits she would smartly wear a mask (which we now all know is not effective), wash her hands, etc. In our minds, a hospital is a place you can surely find covid if it’s around. So we were concerned, but for days, nothing. That’s great, right?

Anyway, FIL was released on Monday 4/26. Wife stayed overnight at his house that night. Late in the evening she had a bout of vomiting and gastro issues. Everyone assumes food poisoning since they ordered take out, but they shared the meal, so unlikely.

I am a teleworker, and so was there when my wife came home at around 9:30AM. Walking down the driveway, she looked rough. She came in and told me the story about being sick overnight. She otherwise felt fine. At about 10:15 AM, she said she was going to lay down and rest.

Now for the good stuff.

11:00AM, I checked on her and she merely stated “I’m sick”. Ok, I’ll check on her in a bit.

At roughly 12:15PM, I check in on her and she’s in full blown distress. Severe full body ache. Fever. Sweating. Cold. Headache. I’m forgetting some symptoms, I’m sure, but she had them all. It’s either covid (probably) or flu (not flu season), but it did not matter. Her progression was scary and fast. I told her she was about to get dosed, and she was so sick she could not even object. At approximately 12:30PM, I administered a “150lb dose” of Ivermectin.

Within one hour, body aches cleared. Overnight, she had sweats and fever, but by morning it had broken.

Morning of 4/28, miraculously improved. We were shocked. But, still “sick”. That day, administered “100lb dose”. Also, D, C, zinc, quercetin.

Morning of 4/29, further improved. Happy and amazed patient, but still “getting over it”. That day, administered “100lb dose”. Also, D, C, zinc, quercetin.

Morning of 4/30, wife had recovered almost completely, but, we continued with our plan of five days of doses. Again gave a “100lb dose”. Also gave D, C, zinc, quercetin.

She’s still sleeping today, but I’m sure she will wake up fine and healthy. She’ll get a “100lb dose” again today + the vitamins mentioned, just because.

So, think of this timeline: Severe illness on a Tuesday - effectively cured on Friday.

I find it rather miraculous.

Some additional notes:

- I have been taking D, C, zinc, and quercetin daily. My wife has not.

- I also “felt” the sickness, but it never took hold of me at all. Oh, BTW, I took a single “150lb dose” on Tuesday, and another on Thursday. Treating the flock!

- I’ve been interrogating my wife about her symptoms and severity of those symptoms all along. She would “feel” the illness progress much like a flu. In her nose, in her throat, etc. But in each case, unlike with flu where you take the full force as the illness runs it’s course, it would be there, and then gone, as though it could not take hold and was beaten.

- Regarding the headache, it arrived for her on Monday 4/26 and was continuous and severe from Monday - Wednesday. Tylenol would not break it. On Thursday it disappeared.

So, there you go folks. I’ve “gone there” and it saved my wife from severe illness. No side effects. No problems. Whether covid or some flu, Ivermectin stopped it cold. In my observation, it’s as though it allowed her to skip the first 7 days (or more) of a bout of flu. I hate the flu and now have a plan for the future.

No way I’m taking the jab given the evidence, science, and direct observation of the effectiveness of Ivermectin as a means to deal with covid.

I’m sure many of you Freepers have seen all of information indicating Ivermectin could help with covid. I am now bringing you first hand proof that it works.

Note that I am not a doctor, and my comments should not be taken as medical advice.

Best Regards

Both prophylaxis and treatment. 2 people in my family were already positive.

I still came down with COVID despite taking the Ivermectin, but it was like a bad summer cold.

My wife, however, had a difficult time. She has been on HCQ for decades, and started Ivermectin as soon as she tested positive.

One of my sons was among the initial positives. He took the Ivermectin, and never had any symptoms.
