Shovel-ready jobs (1.0) was supposed to create a plethora of jobs of 45k and up but it was a boondoggle with so much money eaten up by management making between 100 and 150k, by red tape, and so the millions of even 45k-65k jobs per year never materialized or were very short-term.
Wanna bet this will happen again?
And how many Solyndra's and other clunker, retread Obama/Biden ideas does Biden eventually have planned to roll out?
I wish that he, or at least his handlers and overlords, could be more imaginative concerning the ideas they formulate.
Next up, a banker bailout, grease the skids for the credit card companies again from Biden, more interventionism that Trump put an end to, etc?
I doubt it’s even that much.

It is terrible to have to wake up and hear some MORE dire and destructive news every day, all dreamed up by the Dimmocommie party to destroy our nation, our home.
Everything about Biden and his criminal clan is “shovel ready”. This includes cleaning out any evidence of Hunter Biden’s criminal acts around the world and burying them so deep an archaeologist couldn’t find them with a shovel known as a “steam-shovel”.
“Obama’s Shovel Ready One” was a fraud, a Democrat money laundering scheme for the most part, about 90% or so. Biden can’t even do that much for the “Deplorables”, the “Disposables”, the “Replaceables”, the “American Bitter Clingers”, also once known as people.
I was having lunch with “Slick Eddie” Rendell when he was Governor of Pennsylvania. He sat right next to me at the table and explained how he held meetings with contractors to let them know that Obama’s shovel ready jobs were coming. He gave them a heads up to prepare to bid these jobs.
Within thirty minutes he stated that he closed the bidding process early with a shortened time line to accelerate the stimulus spending.
He gave his buddies a heads up to the bidding process and then closed the window early to block competitor’s bids.

It comes down to designing a project which ends up being half-a-billion and one-third of it is written off as bribes/waste.
My brother in Illinois said during the “stimulus” the state laid a thin layer of asphalt on bad roads. A few months later the asphalt was rumbling and the roads worse than ever.
What will happen is hundreds of IRS types auditing all of the red states and the small businesses, clogging things up with paperwork audits.
The IRS just got more weaponized ... first class flights for all auditors, five star hotels and you get to pay for it all.
It is a total scam. They use tax money to fund their cronies who then give to their campaigns. Vicious circle.

When I loved to body surf as a teen I would sometimes get caught in an undertow. The water would pull and spin you and only way out was to find ground and push yourself out up to air.
USA is caught in an undertow . .. we need to find solid ground and push up out of this immediately or risk death ... drowning.

I remember when he was put in charge of Obama’s jobs bill and they where counting jobs that never existed I’m sure this will be similar
Shovel ready is doing a little more work on never ending road projects and repaving. The typical 7 guys leaning on a Shovel to one working with more managers than laborers. This will be no different.
