What case not to be vaccinated: 95% effective at preventing disease (1/20 will still get sick). 0% chance of severe disease?
Sounds like a great argument to get vaccinated.
....
I thought the “experts” said these vaccines were not intended to prevent covid, but rather to minimize the symptoms?
I thought Fauci said a week or so ago that these vaccines wouldn’t be effective against all the scary Covid-19 variants?
Sorry, but we’re getting different stories every week on these vaccines, and stories that people who’ve received the vaccine still getting covid. I have no plans to get this vaccine, and it appears a growing number of Americans are also coming to this same conclusion.
If people want to get it, that’s cool.
Nope, they never said that.
What they said was that the Phase 3 clinical trials didn't test whether infection was blocked; merely whether severe symptoms and death were prevented. Real-world data collected since then has demonstrated that infection is blocked.
You guys keep clinging to half-understood statements from over 6 months ago. But the data collected since then demonstrates conclusively - without any doubt - that the COVID-19 vaccines block infection. Game over!
