Good for the Ontario police! In this latest round of restrictions, they were told to randomly pull over vehicles and ask where the occupants were going while we’re supposed to be staying at home, by order of Premier Doug Ford and his Chief Health Ministress.
So far, the police are not doing that for a lot of good reasons. I’m convinced that the incremental imposition of unreasonable demands in the name of covid are a test to see how far they can go without pushback. I’ve been as non-compliant as I can be since the beginning, but most of my fellow citizens are very obedient. They scare me more than the government does.
nite
so sad for Canada and my many Ontario friends. I gave up my passport this year. I wont be flying anywhere and the past 10 years my only use was Canada Ontario maybe 20 times. I love love love Ontario.. From my first time there on Honeymoon at Algonquin, and other places nearby for 4 weeks.. then an ensuing love affair of almost 50 years (Shakespeare festive/Shaw festival , wineries, biking, tubing/kayaking on river; theater in Toronto; great restaurants in Niagara falls (anyone remember the great Italian one? with oil/redone pix). The sorry PM an local leadership is sad.
If God gives me the means to do so and the health to do so I will no longer look to Canada... THE USA is resplendent with travel fun, NO?
