Sorry to hear about meds with difficulties but I’m glad you’re home, and I hope the ablation means no meds. Have you seen the info about arjuna on the health thread? Does amazing things for many kinds of heart issues. I take it daily.
That’s interesting. I remember last year when news about overfilled ERs and hospitals in the US, people went and did videos of empty parking lots, empty ERs, etc.
My southern cousin called our grandmother granny.
Yes, I’m familiar with it.
Does your son work for a casino?
That would be a good start, but would not be shocking to me. Funny, a couple days ago I was slammed with work and couldn’t spend much time following the thread , but one of the few posts I read said that Hillary had been executed at Gitmo. I knew it wasn’t true, but it still made me very happy and ready to get back to work.

Ballot watermarks?
Have you got a link to that ghostezra post?
I can’t believe how much pressure there is to be called some cutsey name.

Exactly. My paternal grandmother and great-grandmothers on both sides - all deceased - were called ‘Granny.’ That suits me just fine. In my husband’s family, all female grandparents were called Mommaw and last name, i.e. Mommaw Ayers or Mommaw Brown. I did not feel right usurping the grandmotherly name of a living person. Hence, I am Granny. (My mug-club pint at the local brewery is imprinted with Gran^2y Lyn^2. 😂)
I propose that we change the venue for the meet-up and all camp out on Publius’ lawn, so we can listen to more from him.
Thanks, Publius! That was gold.
I’m in a gated community in San Luis Obispo County. I’d have a tough time getting you all through the gate. And California still has mask requirements and capacity limits. It’s tough to live behind the Palm Curtain.
What’s the diff bewteen AB + and AB-?

The Rhogam factor is the difference. I remember asking about that in college biology and the professor could offer no definitive explanation.
I am A-; husband is AB-. One obstetrician told me that I needed the rhogam shot during pregnancy. When I told him I did not, his response was “well, I do not know who is the father of your child.”
Just imagine my reply to him...
Gonna have to start calling him Simon Farts, cause he seems to be just passing gas.
I know nothing about significance of blood types. Are people with different types more prone to or resistance to health conditions? As was stated up the thread about covid, or anyway speculated about. When it comes to very science-y stuff, my ability to grok ratches way down.
Isn’t that the truth! Sure beats the Slides.
,
I second that!

Sorry, 57, I can’t link from this cell phone.
I thought you were on Telegram. No?
Blast. I thought you were running with the hounds, there. Too bad. 😐
Colleague at work called in sick at last minute with 100 degree fever. The person is social media crazy and undoubtedly vaccinated. :-|
My miniscule knowledge is merely related to having the rhogam shot during pregnancy. I knew that since my husband and I were both (-) that my body would not produce antibodies against the baby.
