Dear Ronna,
Thank you for the hand-written note explaining that your would love me to join the Chairman's Advisory Board. That sounds really official. While it is true that I have much to say and would love to participate, I'm not really sure that I want to continue to give my money to folks and leadership that continues to support RINOs that seem intent on turning their backs on the real grass roots base, if not being outright dismissive of their own constituentcy.
I'm also pretty sure that most of the leadership folks really don't want to here what I have to say. You see, we are pretty pissed out here in "Booney Land." Why? Because with a few exceptions, we really don't see folks fighting for us. Oh folks talk a great game then just become ghost when we are being politically slaughtered. We are just praying that the war on us doesn't actually turn hot.
You see, we see it. Woke Cancel Culture is the new American Stasi, and we see most Republicans running for cover, lest they become tainted. Few really fightback, and no real coordination to resists this evil by the party even appears to be of interest. Want to be relevant? Expose this bigotry with full broadsides in this culture war. Failure to do so will surely render the Republican Party to the dustbin of history, and American freedom and exceptionalism likely with it.
As we drift towards chaos and socialism, the American people of all stripes are looking for leadership and finding the alternative to the accelerating decent into madness quite lacking. RIGHT NOW IS THE TIME TO BUILD THE PARTY BY WINNING HEARTS AND MINDS!!! A few well written public service spots with strong legislation to overcome this slide towards chaos IS THE solution. Active outreach in the CHURCHES, especially in minority communities is also a must. Let's energize our faith community to do so.
The Republican Party can't save America, no more than it could free others from bondage. That was won ONLY when average American folks were willing to get involved and pull the cart to do so. Start there. As for my money, I am only willing to give it to those who are willing to stand up and say, "No more of this bigotry. No more of this American Stasi! Not on my watch! It is either Liberty and Justice FOR ALL as dictated by the concepts of fairness and the Rule-of-Law, or it is tyrany and we are Subjects" There is no middle ground. No let's join this fight or perish.
Signed, Old Pissed-off Country Boy
Excellent letter. Ronna Romney McDaniel was one of President Trump’s worst appointments. Just because she urged him to come for one final rally before the 2016 election which he did and then he won the state did not mean that she had the smarts to run the entire RNC. We lost the house in 2018 and then the House and the Senate in 2020 under her watch.
I am sure that this vanity about a brilliantly written pissed off letter will change the world. You didn’t waste your time at all. and the fluffjobs you will get from the FR hysteria crew will make it all seem worthwhile.
it’s all sunshine and happiness from here on out.
My letter to her would consist of just one word....”Resign!”
I find it interesting she asks me for money and support for 2022, and tells me how important it is. While Liz Cheney is a leader of the GOP, trashing Trump almost daily. While Cheney, McCarthy, McConnell, and Graham all keep declaring that Trump lost an honest election and that fraud played no part.
I’ll recognize when they are serious. So far, they are not.
More sound advice from one of FR’s resident morons.
/eyeroll
Legislation like what?
That’s a mighty fine letter but in the 2nd paragraph “here” should be “hear”, I think. Did you send it to her, and if so how?
Keep up the good work.
You have nothing constructive to add?
only mocking and ridicule?
Thanks.
I don’t know for sure, but, I have a feeling that ongoing talk of election fraud is not polling well. Otherwise I think these GOP leaders would be talking about that subject.
I often get those fund raising letters from the RNC.
Recently they sent me one with an attached self-addressed envelope, with 3 stamps already applied. I sent it back with a small note of my own: “I ONLY GIVE MONEY TO THE REAL POTUS, Donald J Trump”.
I agree. It has been a huge disappointment to see Republicans just give up and let an election be stolen in broad daylight.
The cancel culture is vicious, so they have my sympathy. But I’m not giving them any of my money or my time. The most they will get from me is my vote if they can convince me they are fighters.
The thing is, I don’t think money and campaigning is what they need. There is a huge number of voters with a pent up desire to put things right in government. They don’t need to get robocalls, emails or campaign literature. They are already convinced. They are already motivated.
All they need is to believe the candidate is a truth-teller and a fighter.
That’s exactly how President Trump won - and it’s not rocket science.
He simply told the truth and showed that he will fight - and we came out in droves to vote for him. He didn’t win by raising more money or by having more campaign workers - he won by being vote worthy.
These other Republican candidates can do the same thing - all they need is balls.
Excellent. Thank you for sharing this.
I actually think it is helpful for other FReepers to sometimes remind us that we need to do a better job of communicating our position on these issues. If you didn’t want to waste time on this thread, why did you?
+1
Because he’s a first class moron. Q. E. D.
Just like Heels Up! Harris....Ronna sucks at her job.
The President doesn’t appoint the leader of the party.
The party leader is elected within the party. Sort of the way Pelosi is elected Speaker.
Great letter. I’ve been saying for several years that the GOP needs strong leadership, and still am. No leader, no money.
Great question...make the civil rights stuff include “creed”. When we were growing up, in the 70s, the standard phrasing was race, creed or color. Creed has a very specific meaning which is a set of beliefs, like religion or political affiliation a/o principles. For some reason it no longer seems to be included within the lexicon of that discussion.
